Ke - First Edition

I am not touching that camera again! All the required footage is at hand. This is the first edit of the full animation. I will need to add credits and perhaps play with transitions and effects some more.

The Sun Going Down

"There is no light ... I live in darkness." Sunsets make me sad, and I couldn't imagine a better visual parallel to the lyrics.

The Lady in the Painting

The last scene of the animation: the man caresses the painting of the lady. The camera pans across, and on the other side of the wall, the lady touches back.

Learned two useful things on Premiere working on this scene: to manipulate the shape of the opacity curve, and to adjust color channels on clips. It is a relief to have more than half of the movie done finally!
